Installation of Meghdoot Millennium and Sanchaypost for Postoffices

This page gives detailed procedure for the installation of Meghdoot Millennium(Version upto 7.9.3) and Sanchaypost(patches upto 13) for Post offices

1)Meghdhoot Millennium

1.Pointof Sale and Despatch(Update-1,Update-7.9.1/Parcelnet Update,Update7.9.2)

  • Install setup.exe  in folder ‘Update-1 to Meghdoot 7.0\Point of Sale\Client’
  • copy EBillHOLib.dll file from Update 7.9.1(Parcelnet Update) or copy EBillHOLib.dll from already installed folder
  • chech whether the version is 7.8.0.0
  • copy Pointofsale.exe, DESPATCH.exe, cash.dll,WNX.dll from folder ‘ \MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Point Of Sale & Despatch’ and paste it in installed folder.

          2.SubAccounts  (Meghdoot 7.0,Update 8)

  • Install setup.exe  in folder Install setup.exe  in folder  ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\SubAccounts\SubAccounts Client’
  • copy SubAccounts.exe from ‘\Update-8_To_Meghdoot7.0\SubAccounts’ and paste it in installed folder.

3.Postman (Meghdoot 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  • Install setup.exe in folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post offices \ Postman’
  • copy EMODelivery.dll, EVPDelivery.dll, POSTMAN.exe from folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Postman’ and paste it in installed folder.
  • replace server name(eg:dop) by ‘ pavan/pavankumar’ CONFIG.XML in installed folder.

4.Treasury(Meghdoot 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

à Install setup.exe in folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\Treasury\Treasury Client’
à copy Treasury.exe from folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Treasury’
and paste it in installed folder.

5.Accountant(Meghdoot 7.0,Update 7.9.2)Install setup.exe in folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\Accounts\Setup’

  • Rename the existing Accounts.exe as Accounts_7.9.1.exe
  • Delete the existing CashBook.dll from System32 folder
  • copy Accounts.exe  from folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Accounts’and paste it in installed folder.
  • Copy CashBook.dll to C:\Windows\System32 folder
  • Register CashBook .dll  by double clicking on the same
  • Enter DDO Code in General moduleàEnvironment àMy Office à Office Particulars
  • Select  the AccountsMIS Client application path in General moduleàEnvironment àMy Office à Office Particulars àCashBook Path for DA(P)

6.Schedule/ Account PBS (Meghdoot 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  • Install setup.exe in folder \Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\Account PBS\Setup’
  • Rename the existing  Schedule.exe as Schedule_7.9.1.exe
  • copy Schedule.exe from folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\AccountsPBS’and paste it in installed folder.

7.SBCash(Meghdoot 7.0,Update-1)

  • Install setup.exe in folder ‘ \Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\SB Cash\Setup’
  • copy Treasury.exe from folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Treasury’and paste it in installed folder

          8. MeghdooNIC PLI Bridge(Meghdoot 7.0, Update-1 to Meghdoot 7.0)

  • Install setup.exe in folder \Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\Meghdoot NIC PLI Bridge\Setup’
  • copy Meghdoot NIC PLI Bridge.exe from folder ‘\Update-1 to Meghdoot 7.0\NIC PLI Bridge’ and paste it in installed folder

2)Speednet Client

  • Open ‘SpeedOne Installer’(can be installed from potools)
  • extract file to default folder ‘Speed42’
  • open ‘ SpeedNet Client 42 Setup’ folder in Speed42 folder
  • run Setup.exe

4)Communication

1.Rnet Communication(Update 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  • Copy message folders in already installed  Rnet Communication folder
  • uninstall Rnet communication
  • install from folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\RNet Communication\Setup’
  • give ‘servername’ and ‘PonitOf Sale server path’
  • after succesfull installation copy exe file in folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\Rnet Communication\R NetCommunication.exe to the above installed folder

2.eMO Communication(Update 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  •  Copy message folders in already installed  eMO Communication folder
  • uninstall eMO communication
  • install from folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\eMO\eMOClient\Setup.exe’
  • give ‘servername’
  • after succesfull installation copy exe file in folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\eMO\eMO Communication.exe to the above installed folder
  • copy dll file in folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\eMO\IFSUrgent.dll to the above installed folder

3.ePayment Communication(Update 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  • Requires Machine registration (if not installed in already installed machine)
  • Copy message folders in already installed  ePayment client folder
  • uninstall ePayment client
  • install ‘Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\ePayment\ePaymentClient Setup’
  • after succesfull installation copy exe file in folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\ ePayment\ePaymentClient.exe’ to the above installed folder.
  • give ‘servername’ and ‘officetype’

4.Speednet communication(EMS Client) (Update 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  • Copy message folders in already installed  EMS Client folder
  • uninstall EMS Client
  • Open ‘SpeedOne Installer’(can be installed from potools)
  • extract file to default folder ‘Speed42’
  • install setup.exe from folder ‘\Speed42\Speednet Communication 42 Setup’
  • give ‘servername’ and ‘Speednet server path’

5.eMO(Update 7.0,Update 7.9.2)

  •  install exe file from folder ‘\Meghdoot 7.0 For Post Offices\eMO\eMO\Setup.exe’
  • give ‘servername’
  • after succesfull installation copy exe file in folder ‘\MeghdootUpdate7.9.2\eMO\eMO.exe to the above installed folder

6.CC Bridge
